Allaoui Graphic Machinery GmbH (AGM) has acquired the entire machinery park of bookbindery PMV Runge in Oyten. Due to a shortage of skilled workers, the second-generation family business from the north of Germany had already considered shutting down and liquidating the company in 2018 and called on AGM as a consulting partner. AGM first tried to find suitable support from the market for the Runge family through its network, in order to avoid that after Stein & Lehmann, as well Bruno Helm in Berlin another traditional bookbindery has to close. Despite several months of attempts and various job advertisements, the Runge family was unable to fill the vacancies and finally had to make the difficult decision to liquidate the company. Allaoui Graphic Machinery GmbH then took over the entire machinery park, consisting of a mint condition Müller Martini Bolero perfect binder, a 2016 Polar N137 cutting line and various other bookbinding machines. AGM handled the entire project including a swept-clean handover of the building.
