In March the paper
Hessische/Niedersächsische Allgemeine reported that Schreckhase filed for bankruptcy. After five months of negotiations, the responsible bankruptcy trustee Carsten Koch could not find an investor given the market situation in the industry. Hence, a divestiture of Schreckhase had to be implemented. Six potential buyers were invited and Allaoui was the only one qualified to acquire the machine park of Schreckhase.
The machine park includes, among others, the following equipment
- 5 Heidelberg presses with 28 printing units
- 2 CTP systems
- 11 folding machines
- 1 Kolbus KM600.C perfect binder and 1 Kolbus BF530 book production line (both 2012)
- 1 sewing machine
- 3 Polar cutting lines
- 3 Heidelberg saddle stitchers
- 1 envelope inserting machine
- 1 die cutter
- 7 banding machines
- 1 manual stitcher
- 2 plotters
- 2 pile turners
- 17 delivery systems
- 2 densitometer devices
- 2 pallet wrappers
